Team Fortress 2 players can play Splatoon thanks to mod

Nintendo’s Splatoon may be a Wii U exclusive, but it’s made its way to Team Fortress 2 thanks to a mod.

Splat Fortress is in early alpha mode at the moment. The team behind it has released gameplay footage showing the mod in action featuring a version of Splatoon's Port Mackerel map.

It looks a little crude at the moment. Area coverage is limited to large squares, but otherwise all mechanics are present and correct. This includes the ability to switch into a squid at will.
