Now Gmail lets anyone unsend an e-mail
Ever clicked “Send” on an e-mail only to spot a spelling mistake, that you haven’t attached the promised file, or that it’s going to the wrong recipient? Now you can take advantage of Gmail’s Undo Send feature, which has left beta.
Undo Send was introduced to Gmail back in 2009, allowing users to cancel the sending on an e-mail within seconds of clicking “Send.” But it was in the Labs section of Gmail, which meant that users had to manually switch it on to use it.
