Watch lots of Fallout 4 gameplay
Game director of Bethesda Game Studios, Todd Howard, took to the stage at E3 to present gameplay from Fallout 4. He revealed that work on the title began in 2009 after Fallout 3 was wrapped up.
Fallout 4 begins before the bombs fall. The presentation gave us a look at the character creation and revealed that you can play as a man or a woman. You can sculpt and alter your character’s details as they peer into a bathroom mirror.
This peaceful opening doesn’t last long. As you watch TV, you see a bomb threat report on television. Then you and your significant other head for Vault 111. The player emerges from Vault 111 200 years later as the sole survivor.
A new crafting system means you’ll be able to customise your weapon, power armour and even your base. You’ll also be able to establish multiple bases, which you’ll have to protect from attackers.
Fallout 4 will be released on November 10 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you’re looking to enhance your experience even further, the Collector’s Edition will come with a wearable Pip-Boy replica, stand and capsule case.
