PayPal outs Steam's summer sale dates
The e-mail says that users can "Save on thousands of games during Steam's Summer Sale starting June 11, 2015." The question we ask ourselves every year as we shell out for games is, “Are we really saving money if we weren’t buying the game until now?”
The Steam Summer Sale will run for ten days, offering massive discounts on a huge number of games. There are flash sales, fan votes for games to go on sale, daily deals, and new deals every eight hours.
Each sale tends to revolve around a theme and reward users for interacting more. Last year, players were divided into five teams and earned points based on their sale-related activities. Thirty members of the winning team were selected randomly every day to win games from their Wish List.
This isn’t the first time that PayPal has given its users prior warning of an upcoming Steam Sale. Fire up Steam on June 11th to see what deals await.
