The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt has a lot of bugs

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is finally out there for anyone to buy and enjoy, and we're already pretty sure it's going to be on many people's lists of the best games of 2015.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt has a lot of bugs

But that doesn't mean it has all been smooth sailing for developers CD Project RED or the consumers who have bought the game so far. Despite a new patch bringing the version of the game up to 1.02 on launch day yesterday, there are still many complaints of issues, some pretty serious. We've heard that some players can't get past the intro video, with the game hanging forever on a loading screen. Restarting the console may help, but you might have to go so far as uninstalling and reinstalling the game software. We've seen some frame rate stutters ourselves running on PS4 but nothing totally game breaking - though there are reports of major issues with the tutorial mission as well as being unable to proceed during a game of Gwent - that's the Witcher's unique card game. Graphically, we've also found it fairly stable (at least as stable as any open world games ever are these days) but that's obviously not the case for everyone, with quirky textures a definite issue for those running on PC.
