Did you know there's a Minority Report TV series? The first trailer kinda rocks

2002's Minority Report started life as a very loose adaptation of a Philip K. Dick short story but the final film was very much a combination of the star power of lead Tom Cruise and a late era career high for director Steven Spielberg.

In short, its one of the best sci-fi projects of that particular decade so we were initially wary of word of a TV show spin off in the works.But it's actually sounding pretty cool. Instead of yet another reboot, it takes place 10 years after the events of the film when the Pre Crime department has been disbanded. One of the former pre-cogs is trying to adjust to normal life, but can't escape visions of future violence and the need to stop them.The first trailer is here, from the pilot episode directed by Mark Mylod (Game of Thrones, The Affair).
