The Apple Watch is available in nine countries at the moment: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US. The rest of us may not have to wait too long, as Apple plans to release it in more countries in June.

Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed this plan during the company's Q2 earnings call. Unfortunately, all he said was, “We're looking forward to getting it into additional countries in June." We still have no idea where Apple is hoping to release the Watch in June.Naturally, Cook was extremely positive about the Watch. The only blip, if it can be called that, is that demand has outstripped supply. Cook said that Apple is “working hard to remedy that."He highlighted that the response to the Apple Watch has been "overwhelming positive.” And he said that the Apple Watch launched with more than 3,500 apps. Apple’s goal was to beat the 1,000 apps the iPad had at its launch. “We couldn't be happier than how things are going from that point of view," Cook said.The Apple Watch will be released in more countries in June. Obviously we’re hoping that Ireland is one of the lucky ones chosen.In Short: Apple announced that it plans to release in Apple Watch in more countries in June. Unfortunately, it didn't say where, so keep the fingers crossed.
