There once was an Australian doctor of medicine called George Miller who worked the A&E wards trying to clean up the mess left by the carnage on the roads in his country. He continued to work on these broken bodies all through the production of his very first feature in 1979. And it was here that Mad Max was born.36 years later, and the now 70 year old filmmake has managed to birth a legend, helping to create the mega-star talent of Mel Gibson and also made us laugh with Babe and Happy Feet. He's nothing if not an eclectic filmmaker but it's clear that Mad Max has always been on his mind, from the original trilogy released in 79, 81 and 85 to the long gestating sequel/reboot Fury Road. So it's only fitting that the entire saga is celbrated in this new Legacy trailer.
