Huawei unveils 'bigger than bigger' P8 Max

Alongside its flagship Ascend P8, Huawei today announced the Ascend P8 Max, a “bigger than bigger” version of the handset.

The Ascend P8 Max features a mammoth 6.8-inch screen, yet is still just 6.8mm thick. It features a gorgeous two-tone design, which is 94% metal and the screen takes up a healthy 83% of the front of the device.There’s plenty of power under the hood, but Huawei promises that the P8 Max will have a great battery life. This is thanks to the whopping 4,360mAh battery contained within. It will supposedly last more than two days under normal usage, while those who put a great deal of strain on their handset’s battery will still get almost a day and a half of use from the P8 Max.The device is quite substantial in size, but Huawei maintains that it will still be pocketable. We’re not sure whose pockets they were using to test that claim, but we’re certainly curious to put it to the test.Huawei’s Ascend P8 Max will be released next month. Like the smaller Ascend P8, the Ascend P8 Max will be available in two variants. The standard model will come with 32GB of internal storage, and will be available in titanium grey and mystic champagne with a price tag of €549. The premium model will come with 64GB internal storage, and will be available in titanium grey and prestige gold, and will cost €649.In Short: Huawei announced the 6.8-inch Huawei Ascend P8 Max, which will be released next month.
