Sony announced a variety of features that will be added to the PlayStation 4 with the next system update (version 2.50).

The system update will add the long-awaited suspend/resume feature, a range of new accessibility options, and 60 frames per second support for Remote Play and Share Play.The suspend/resume means players will be able to resume a game where they left off, simply by waking the system from Rest Mode. This feature was announced two years ago when Sony first unveiled the PlayStation 4. It will be supported by “nearly all PS4 titles," according to SCEA director of product planning and software innovation, Scott McCarthy.Trophy hunters may be pleased to hear that the PlayStation 4 will automatically capture a screenshot when a Trophy is earned, and players will be able to remove games from their Trophy list that have zero percent completion.The accessibility options added include text to speech, enlarged text, bolder fonts, higher contrast UI, zoom for displayed pictures, invert colours on screen and more. Players will also be able to remap buttons on their DualShock 4 controller.The system update also adds a host of other features.
