Irish ports handle 13.8m tonnes of goods in second quarter

Dublin Port, Ireland's busiest port, accounted for almost 60% of all vessel arrivals in Irish ports in the three month period.

Some 13.8m tonnes of goods were handled by the eight main Irish ports in the three months between April and June, the Central Statistics Office has found. 

New figures released this week show that the total tonnage of goods handled by Irish ports increased by 14% in the three months when compared to the same period in 2024.
