Fuels for Ireland (FFI) has called for a review of excise duties on fuel products before changing the trajectory of the carbon tax, which has “a clear emissions-reduction purpose”.

Finance minister Simon Harris last week hinted that the Government could pause carbon tax hikes in October, saying everything will be kept “under review”.
