Experienced exec Barry Casey joins the board of PJ Hegarty

Building and civil engineering company PJ Hegarty has appointed Barry Casey to its main board as construction director for the southern region (Ireland).

Barry joined PJ Hegarty in 1993 and has played a key role in delivering many of the company's flagship projects across the commercial, pharmaceutical, life sciences and residential sectors. Having served as regional director since 2018, his appointment reflects more than three decades of leadership, technical expertise and commitment to the business.

Throughout his career, Barry has been involved in some of PJ Hegarty's best-known projects, including Boston Scientific, MSD, Penrose Dock, Nano Nagle Place and the Elysian development in Cork city.

Barry said: “Over the years, I have been fortunate to work on landmark projects including Clarion Hotel & Lapps Quay Development, Penrose Dock and the Elysian development in Cork city. I look forward to supporting our teams as we continue to deliver for our clients across the region.”
