Technology firm OneTouch Health has appointed Neil McGough as CEO to spearhead the firm’s ambitious growth plans.

Meanwhile founder Dermot Clancy moves into the newly created role of chief innovation officer, and Dr Sati Sian has been appointed as chair.

These senior changes will underpin the Galway-based health tech firm’s target of supporting the delivery of 100 million hours of care annually through its health tech solutions by 2028.

The firm recently reached an operational milestone with its cloud-based care management solutions now being used in over 4,000 registered care locations across Ireland, the UK and Australia.

OneTouch Health has supported more than 100,000 carers to deliver care for over half a million people to date, and the new leadership team are confident they can grow from 70 million hours annually to a landmark 100 million hours by 2028.

Neil McGough joins from Learnosity, a global leader in AI-driven education technology, where he was chief product officer. As such, he brings experience supporting more than 40 million users and bringing AI-powered, human-centred products to market.

Neil said: "The challenges facing the domiciliary and home care sectors are intense. Demand is growing and care requirements are becoming increasingly complex. I look forward to building on the amazing work Dermot has done.”

As CIO, Dermot Clancy will work closely with customers, keeping care quality central to the OneTouch vision. He will also support Neil with company, product and partnership strategy.

Dr Sati Sian moves from his role as board member and strategic advisor, to Chairman of OneTouch Health. Dr Sian has worked closely with the business since the initial 2022 investment by August Equity and brings a proven track record of scaling high-growth health-tech leaders, including Agilio, Allocate and Evaluate.
