Alan Gallagher has been appointed as commercial director of life sciences with Expleo, the global technology, engineering and consulting service provider. He will oversee and lead Expleo’s market strategy for companies in the pharma and life sciences sectors. Alan brings a wealth of expertise to his role, having worked as the director of business development for Catalyx. Prior to this, he served as sales manager for TQS Integration Ltd. and later, Cognizant, following its acquisition of TQS. Alan is actively involved in industry networks, including the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Ireland affiliate and, through Expleo, Biopharma Chem Ireland. Alan holds a BComm from UCC.
