An air conditioning manufacturer and installer has topped the latest list of tax defaulters which saw a 25 cases settled for a total value of just under €8m.

Air Force H&V Limited, now in liquidation, located at 47-48 Broomhill Close in Tallaght, Dublin 24, was the subject of a level 2 audit case for the under-declaration of PAYE/PRSI/USC and Vat. 

The settlement, the majority of which remained unpaid as of December 31, 2025, consisted of €1.34m in tax, over €333,000 in interest and over €576,000 in penalties, bringing the total settlement to €2.25m. As of the end of 2025, €1.83m remained unpaid. 

The second largest settlement was a Dublin-based lighting design consultant, Pro-Light Design & Technology Limited, with an address at Westerton Lodge, Ballinteer Road, in Dublin 16. 

The company was the subject of a level 2 audit case by the Revenue Commissioners for the under-declaration of corporation tax and Vat. 

The settlement, much of which remained unpaid by the end of last year, comprised €698,000 in tax, almost €96,000 in interest and over €331,000 in penalties, bringing the total to just under €1.26m. 

As of December 31, 2025, €1.1m of that settlement remained unpaid. 

Cryptocurrency investor Desmond O'Keefe, with an address at 51 Knocklyne Valley in Killorglin, Co. Kerry, was the subject of a level 2 risk review for the under-declaration of capital gains tax.

The settlement, which was paid in full, comprised over €98,000 in tax, more than €27,000 in interest and €29,500 in penalties, coming to a total of €155,030.

A former undertaker from Co. Clare was the subject of a Revenue audit case into the under-declaration of income tax. 

Anthony McMahon, with an address at Parkroe, Ardnacrusha in Co. Clare was ordered to pay €122,000 in tax, €113,600 in interested and €36,700 in penaltiies, bringing the total settlement to €272,600. As of December 31, 2025, just under €269,600 of that settlement remained unpaid.

A Donegal bakery, trading as Highland Barkery was the subject of a Revenue audit case into the under-declaration of PAYE/PRSI/USC and Vat. 

Capture Box Limited, with an address at Killyclug, Letterkenny in Co. Donegal was ordered to pay €101,000 in tax, almost €31,500 in interest and €30,320 in penalties, bringing the total settlement, which was paid in full, to €162,886.
