Keanes Jewellers have completed a major expansion of their Limerick store in a move that will add new job to the city.

Keanes acquired the building next door—formerly H. Samuel Jewellers—and has nearly tripled its retail space and allowed the development of new, purpose-built jewellery and watch workshops. The upgrade also includes state-of-the-art boardrooms and enhanced staff facilities—making full use of all three floors of the building.

The major investment and expansion will see the creation of 10 new jobs across customer service, sales and skilled repairs.

"This isn’t just a refurbishment—it’s a bold investment in Limerick and in the future of the Keanes brand. We’re proud of how far we’ve come,” says Director Ger Keane.

“But we’re even more excited about what lies ahead. This new space reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering the very best for our customers—in Limerick and beyond.”

Since Patrick and Eileen Keane first opened their doors in Cork in 1948, the business has been grounded in family values, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional customer care.
