Mark O'Sullivan CEO of NeuroBell has been awarded the Enterprise Ireland High-Potential Start-Up (HPSU) Founder of the Year for 2025.

The chief executive of a Cork medical device start-up has been awarded the Enterprise Ireland High-Potential Start-Up (HPSU) Founder of the Year for 2025. 

Mark O’Sullivan founded NeuroBell in 2023, with Alison O’Shea and Colm Murphy. It is a spin-out company from UCC and the Irish Centre for Maternal and Child Health Research (Infanct). NeuroBell's first product, Luna, is a portable brain monitor with AI-powered seizure detection. Luna enables neonatal ICU staff to quickly diagnose seizures without subspecialty expertise, ensuring timely intervention and treatment. Luna is expected to receive FDA clearance and be ready for launch on the US market in 2026.
