Yuno Energy puts price freeze on electricity and gas bills for 65,000 customers

Energy provider says decision could save customers up to €945

Yuno Energy has announced a price freeze for its 65,000 electricity and gas customers for the winter months, with no price hike until March 1 at the earliest. 

Several competitors including Bord Gáis Energy, Energia, Pinergy, SSE Airtricity, and Flogas have announced price increases in recent weeks. Monday's announcement means new business unit rates at Yuno Energy are 25c (inluding Vat) for electricity and 7.85c (includiing Vat) for gas.
