Business movers: People starting new jobs in Ireland

Here is a selection of people starting new roles with Friends of the Earth Ireland, Accenture, Howden UK & Ireland, Connelly Partners, Esri Ireland and Rotunda Hospital.

Deirdre Duffy has been appointed as CEO with Friends of the Earth Ireland. Currently the director of impact, grants and donor care at Community Foundation Ireland, she starts her new post from August 25. Deirdre brings extensive leadership experience, an understanding of campaigns and movement building as well as a focus on policy. Deirdre is perhaps best known for her role as campaign manager for Together for Yes, a campaign which successfully unified a diverse movement to achieve Repeal of the 8th Amendment. She has also held senior roles in the Irish Council for Civil Liberties, drawing on her background as a human rights lawyer.
