Clayton and Maldron owner Dalata has announced a strategic review which may include the potential sale of the group. 

Ireland's largest hotel operator said that while it offers a "highly attractive" investment proposition, it also recognises that it faces certain structural challenges including its small scale in a public market context, its concentrated shareholder register, a constrained capital base and a share price that continues to trade at levels which the board does not believe reflects its asset base, fundamentals, performance, cash generation, and growth prospects.
