Savills Ireland reports increase in US visitors to its website since election, with Cork 'most popular destination' 

According to director of residential at Savills Cork Catherine McAuliffe, Cork 'remains the most popular destination for US purchasers'. 

Estate agent Savills Ireland has reported a consistent increase in the number of American people visiting its site and viewing potential homes, after in the months after Donald Trump won the US election.

The company said there had been a 49% increase in the number of US visitors to its website Savills.ie, compared to the same period last year. The analysis of website traffic took place between November 6 last year and February 11 this year, compared to the same timeframe in 2023 and 2024.
