Sales at the Irish arm of Monster Energy branded drinks lost some of their fizz last year as revenues declined by 7% to €182.6m.

New accounts show American Fruit and Flavours Ireland (AFFI) recorded a revenue decrease as pre-tax losses narrowed by 14%, from €47.07m to €40.59m.
