Rooney's latest novel set to be Dubray Books' best seller for 2024

Prediction comes as book chain's accounts show 29% decline in pre-tax profits  to €828,000 last year over 'a relatively poor book title release calendar'

Sally Rooney’s new novel, Intermezzo, is set to be Dubray Books' best-selling book of 2024.

That is according to the general manager of the expanding retail book chain, Maria Dickenson, who said that “Irish fiction has been the success story of the year, with Colm Toibín’s Long Island the standout title of 2024 prior to the arrival of Intermezzo, followed by Marian Keyes’ My Favourite Mistake”.
