Kerry Airport had received €1.7m of a subsidy in direct funding in 2023.

The country’s second-busiest regional airport saw passenger numbers for 2023 reach more than 419,000, exceeding the 400,000 mark for only the second time in the airport’s 52-year history.

Its AGM at the Ballygarry Hotel in Tralee was told the operating profit after taxation for the period of €1.2m was recorded compared to an after taxation operating profit of €1.1m in the previous year.
