International Air Transport Association (IATA) chief Willie Walsh has voiced his support for Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun to calm the crisis swirling around the troubled US plane maker.

Mr Walsh, the head of the world’s biggest airline trade body, said Mr Calhoun is the right person to lead the company out of its latest safety crisis, after a panel blew out of a 737 MAX 9 plane in flight last month.
