Outdoor advertising group unveils new director
Aoibhín Lennon, newly appointed Outdoor Media Association director, with five MDs of the OMA’s member companies: Colin Leahy (Global), Joanne Grant (JCDecaux), Geoff Lyons (PML Group), Terry Buckley (Clear Channel), Andrew Sinclair (Talon).
Aoibhín Lennon has been appointed as a director with the Outdoor Media Association, the representative body for the outdoor advertising industry on the island of Ireland.
Previously a business director at Core, Aoibhín will now oversee the OMA’s development across a range of initiatives within the Irish outdoor industry. She has worked in several leading media companies in both Ireland and Australia, including Vizeum, Zenith Optimedia and Mediacom.
Colin Leahy, OMA president, said: “Significant and exciting developments are taking place in outdoor advertising across the island of Ireland, delivering fresh opportunities for brands in audience reach and engagement.
“Aoibhín will spearhead the strategic direction and future development of our industry, helping secure the positive impact our medium makes on marketing communications for our advertising clients.”
The OMA represents out of home (OOH) companies, promoting the benefits of the medium of outdoor, and ensuring high professional standards across the sector. Member companies include media owners Clear Channel, Global and JCDecaux, alongside OOH media specialists PML Group and Talon.
