Spanish fashion retailer Mango returns to Cork's Patrick Street

Mango. New store on Cork's Patrick's Street replacing the former Quills premises.

The Mango fashion chain has opened its new store on Cork's Patrick's Street returning to the city centre following its departure five years ago.

The Spanish retailer has opened a 360 square metre premises next to The Savoy. The unit had been vacant since Quills shut up shop in 2014. It was bought the following year for €2m by Clarendon Properties, owners of the Savoy. Mango has taken a 10-year lease, with a five-year breakout clause, which includes a penalty for early exit.
