Kerry to Groningen charter flight to operate from April 2027
New charter flight from Groningen to Kerry Airport to operate in summer 2027
A Dutch tour operator will operate a new charter flight to Kerry Airport from the Netherlands next summer.
BBI Travel's weekly flight to and from Groningen Airport Eelde through Sky Alps will operate each Thursday from 29 April to 9 September 2027.
It previously operated direct flights from Groningen Airport Eelde to Ireland in 2025 but could not provide the service this year due to a shortage of available aircraft.
The charter to Kerry is in addition to its Monday service to Ireland West Airport Knock, giving visitors the flexibility to fly into one airport, explore the west of Ireland, and return from the other, explained Henk van der Kooi, managing director of BBI Travel.
The Ireland West Airport Knock service will proceed each Monday from 26 April until 6 September.
The Dutch travel company BBI Travel has been offering holidays from the Netherlands to Ireland since 1963. They will offer complete holiday packages to Kerry, incorporating flights, accommodation, and local transport.
Evelyn Crowley, customer service manager at Kerry Airport, described the new partnership as “a significant vote of confidence in Kerry and the wider south-west as a destination for Dutch holidaymakers.”
