Moody’s: Older generating capacity becoming unviable

Plans by Energia owner Viridian to close power plants in Hunstown in Dublin following a so-called capacity constraint auction in recent months are consistent with an analysis that “older” generating capacity would be shut, Moody’s Investors Service has said.
