Greek unions call general strike as ferry crews extend walkout

Unions in Greece have announced plans for a general strike on Thursday in protest at further tax hikes and labour reforms demanded by the country's bailout creditors.

Ferry crews have also extended for another two days a four-day walkout over planned tax hikes and pension cuts. It had been due to end early Tuesday.
