Eir boss says broadband roll-out can happen faster than Government plan

The head of one of the firms bidding for the national broadband contract has said his firm can do the job faster than the Government has planned.

CEO of Eir Richard Moat claimed his company already controlled much of the infrastructure needed to deliver the broadband before the 2020 deadline.
