Aer Lingus announced a 1.5% increase in passenger numbers for the month of May.

The airline, which recently received Government approval to be sold to IAG, posted passenger numbers of 1,062,000, up from 1,046,000 passengers in May 2014. That figure includes 106,000 passengers on Aer Lingus Regional flights.
