Teachers' strikes account for majority of all industrial action days lost

Two industrial disputes in the Education sector accounted for more than half of all the days lost last year across all sectors.

In total, 44,015 days were lost to industrial disputes in 2014. That compares to just under 15,000 - 14,965 - the year before.
