New offer allows customers to choose when to take €100 off electricity bill

Bord Gáis Energy has today announced an introductory offer which would allow customers to choose when they want the €100 off their bill.

It offers a 10% discount and €100 off to new electricity customers who sign up to Level Pay and paperless billing.

“Following on from our recent price decrease announcement, Bord Gáis Energy is again demonstrating our commitment to delivering value on an ongoing basis to our customers with this offer,” said Nicky Doran, head of retail of Bord Gáis Energy.

“We are offering the control to our customers so they can choose when they want the €100 off their bill.

“We know there are times such as summer holidays or Christmas, when customers prefer to spend their money on other things and with this offer, the customer is in control and can nominate when they want the money off their bill.”

“This new offer is unlike any other available in the Irish market and Bord Gáis Energy is the only energy provider offering this.

“New customers can save between €192 and €234 annually by switching to us with this offer.

“With Bord Gáis Energy, in addition to our introductory offer, we also provide existing customers with an ongoing 5% discount when on Level Pay and Paperless billing.”

The offer is available to any new electricity account, which includes electricity-only sign ups.

For those who sign up to gas and electricity at the same time they will get a 10% discount gas, 10% discount on electricity, €100 cash back plus 1,000 or 4,000 Tesco Clubcard points depending on whether they sign up for 12 or 24 months.
