Small increase in white-fish quotas

The Minister for Agriculture and the Marine has said there was a small increase in quotas for fishermen who catch white fish next year.

A total of €123m worth of quotas have been agreed, which Simon Coveney says is a good result overall and a long way from the original European Commission proposals which would have resulted in a 20% reduction in quotas.
