UTV Ireland has said it expects to make losses of between €2.5m and €3.8m in its first year of business, but that it will return to profit in the second half of next year.

UTV Ireland has said it expects to make losses of between €2.5m and €3.8m in its first year of business, but that it will return to profit in the second half of next year.

The network has released its interim financial results for the year and says the development of the Irish station is well underway and on plan.
