Dublin is due for a "significant" jobs announcement today, as AdRoll is set to launch its new offices in the capital this morning.

125 jobs have been announced for Dublin this morning.

AdRoll, a firm which "re-targets" online visitors with ads across sites like Facebook and Twitter, is launching its new offices in the capital this morning.

The company will be hiring 100 new staff this year - a process they say is already ahead of schedule. That will being its total Dublin staff to 220.

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny and AdRoll Chief Executive Aaron Bell will attend today's event where it is understood they will make a significant announcement about the company's European operations.

Speaking about the announcement, Enda Kenny said the jobs were "another sign that the Government's plan for jobs and investment is working" and it "is a vote of confidence in Ireland".

AdRoll said it has over 15,000 active advertisers worldwide.

Meanwhile, Innovative, a Californian firm which supplies library technology, is doubling its workforce in Dublin, hiring 25 new staff over the next 18 months.
