Construction output up by 2.1% in first quarter

Building and construction output increased by 2.1% in the first three months of the year when compared with the previous quarter, according to latest figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

The CSO's Production in Building and Construction Index (PBCI) revealed that on an annual basis, the volume of output in building and construction increased by 7.7% in the first quarter of 2014.
