The Finance Minister Michael Noonan says using the Government's stake in Bank of Ireland to vote against its CEO's salary could send the wrong signals to international markets.

Richie Boucher was paid €843,000 last year and Sinn Féin's Pearse Doherty says the Government should use its 14% share in the bank to vote against approving that level of pay.
