CSO figures show rise in tourist numbers coming to Ireland

Trips to Ireland in the summer months increased by 6.7%, according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office.

In the period from June to August this year, the total number of trips to Ireland increased to 2,264,800 when compared to the same period for last year (2,122,800).
