€65m loss for RTÉ in 2012 due to restructuring costs

RTÉ has announced it made a loss of €65m in 2012.

Despite a drop in advertising revenues across the media sector, the company had an operating profit of €2.2m, but this was offset by the costs of the restructuring, including redundancy packages.
