Lithuania tax collectors turn to Street View to catch cheats

Authorities in Lithuania are to use Google Street View to clamp down on tax cheats.

Tax collectors say the online street mapping service, which launched in Lithuania only last week, will help them to identify the true value of property holdings.

They hope Street View will also help to identify land and property that has not been registered by its owners.
