IMF to lower growth outlook for global economy

The head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, is warning that the global economy is slowing, with a soon-to-be published growth outlook lower than earlier forecasts.

In April, the IMF forecast global growth of 3.5% for this year.
