Eircom wins five-year AIB contract

Eircom has announced a new five-year partnership with AIB to become the bank’s sole provider of communications services.

The telecommunications company will completely upgrade and replace AIB’s data networks and voice services systems across its operations in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.

They said that work has already begun on an upgrade to boost capacity, speed and flexibility in the bank's systems and is planned to be completed by October.
