More than half of first-time house buyers do not believe financial institutions are lending at the moment, according to the results of a survey released today.

According to a survey by property website MyHome.ie, which questioned 1,800 people, 65% of respondents who currently own a home believe the banks are not lending, while 52% of first-time buyers also agree.
