Two out of five workers felt pressured to be visible in their office in a growing trend of "presenteeism" because of the state of the economy, according to a new UK study today.

A survey of 2,000 office employees by mobile phone giant O2 found that over one in four believed their performance was measured by the amount of time they spent at their desk.
