NAMA posts H1 profits of €209m

The National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) today said it had generated profits of €118m during the second quarter of the year with cumulative profits of €209m for the first six months of 2011.

The National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) today said it had generated profits of €118m during the second quarter of the year with cumulative profits of €209m for the first six months of 2011.

Publishing its quarterly report and accounts for Q2 2011, NAMA said that up to the end of June it had generated €828m net cash from its operating activities, primarily due to receipts from debtors totalling €874m and derivative inflows of €51m.
