Osborne: 'Not a single banker' will want to pay Financial Services Tax

British Chancellor George Osborne today slammed the European Commission for proposing a tax on financial transactions that would cost 500,000 jobs in the midst of an economic crisis.

He challenged Brussels to drop the plan now as it would never win enough support and would only drive business out of Europe.
