Forum to hear ideas on Ireland's adventure-tourism potential

The Junior Minister for Tourism Michael Ring will address a forum in Westport, Co Mayo later, which is looking at ways to promote Ireland as an adventure and activity tourist destination.

Ireland is currently ranked seventh in the world with the highest adventure tourism potential.

The forum, which is hosted by Fáilte Ireland, will hear ideas on how to build this potential market.
